Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women Celebrates 32nd Graduation Day with 634 Degrees Conferred

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women held its 32nd Graduation Day in Coimbatore, conferring degrees to 634 students. KPMG India's Narayanan Ramasamy urged graduates to continuously acquire new skills, while students secured 16 Bharathiar University Ranks including four Gold Medals during the celebration.


Coimbatore: The 32nd Graduation Day of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women was celebrated with great enthusiasm, marking a significant milestone for the institution and its graduating students. The ceremony witnessed the conferment of degrees to 634 students from various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, celebrating their academic achievements and preparing them for their future endeavours.

Narayanan Ramasamy, National Head of the Education and Skill Development Services Division at KPMG India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the graduating students, he emphasized the critical importance of continuously acquiring new skills in accordance with the rapid advancements in technology. He stressed the necessity of developing an adaptable mindset and being prepared to embrace changing circumstances in today's dynamic professional landscape.

Dr. Sundar Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, presided over the programme and shared valuable insights with the graduates. He stated that education should not be viewed solely as a means of personal advancement but should also contribute to the welfare of society. He urged the graduating students to utilize their knowledge, skills, and talents not only for their own growth but also for the betterment of the communities in which they live, emphasizing the social responsibility that comes with education.

Dr. K. Chitra, Principal of the College, congratulated the graduates and highlighted the remarkable achievements of the institution and its students. The college's academic excellence was evident as students secured 16 Bharathiar University Ranks, including four prestigious Gold Medals, showcasing their dedication and hard work throughout their academic journey.

The graduation ceremony was attended by C.V. Ramkumar, Chief Executive Officer, and T. Maheshkumar, Chief Administrative Officer of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, along with faculty members, parents, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion. The event served as a platform to recognize the achievements of the graduating batch and inspire them to contribute meaningfully to society while pursuing their professional goals.
