Coimbatore Mayor Inspects Puliyakulam Corporation Schools

Coimbatore Mayor Ka. Ranganayaki Ramachandran inspected Verinada High School and Primary School in Puliyakulam area under Central Zone today. She instructed officials to establish virtual reality laboratory and interacted with students about their educational needs and school facilities.


Coimbatore: Mayor Ka. Ranganayaki Ramachandran conducted a direct inspection of corporation schools located in Puliyakulam area under the Central Zone of Coimbatore Corporation today. The Mayor visited the corporation-run Verinada High School and Primary School operating in Puliyakulam area under Ward No. 66 and inspected the infrastructure facilities.

During the inspection at Verinada High School, the Mayor instructed officials to take necessary measures to establish a virtual reality (AR & VR LAB) laboratory to provide modern technological education to students. The Mayor stated that this laboratory will greatly help in improving the learning abilities of students through modern technology.



Subsequently, Mayor Ka. Ranganayaki Ramachandran visited the corporation Verinada Primary School and inspected the facilities there. She directly interacted with the children studying in the school and enquired about their educational needs and school facilities. The Mayor carefully listened to issues related to children's welfare and assured necessary improvements.



During this inspection, corporation officials including Assistant Commissioner Dakshinamurthy, Executive Engineer Yogasithra (Public Works), Assistant Executive Engineer Saravanakumar (Public Works), Assistant Town Planner Srinivasan, Councillor Muniyammal, Zonal Health Officer Gunasekaran, Assistant Engineer Kamalakkannan, and Health Inspector J. Yaparvathi were present.

Coimbatore Corporation has been continuously making efforts to improve the quality of education in corporation schools and provide modern facilities. This inspection was conducted as a continuation of those efforts.
