Coimbatore: Electricity Board officials have announced that power supply will be suspended tomorrow (July 28) from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at the Chinnathadagam substation.

The monthly maintenance activities are being conducted to ensure the continuous operation of the substation and to improve the quality of electricity distribution. As a result, power supply will be affected in Chinnathadagam and its surrounding areas for approximately seven hours.

The areas affected by the power cut include Chinnathadagam, Aanaikatti, Nanjundapuram, parts of Pannimadai, Periyathadagam and Pappanaickanpalayam. The Electricity Board has requested residents of these areas to make necessary arrangements in advance.

Electricity Board authorities have also informed that if weather conditions remain favorable and maintenance work is completed earlier than planned, power supply may be restored before the scheduled time.
