Public Grievance Redressal Meeting Cancelled in Coimbatore Tomorrow

Coimbatore Corporation has cancelled the public grievance redressal meeting scheduled for tomorrow, July 21, 2026, at the headquarters due to administrative reasons. Public requested to plan visits accordingly.

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation has officially announced the cancellation of the public grievance redressal meeting that was scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Corporation headquarters. The cancellation has been attributed to administrative reasons, according to the official statement released by the Corporation administration.

The meeting, which was expected to be chaired by Mayor Ka Ranganayaki Ramachandran, would have provided residents an opportunity to present their grievances and concerns directly to the civic authorities. Such meetings are typically conducted to address various civic issues including infrastructure problems, sanitation concerns, water supply issues, and other matters affecting daily life in the city.

The Corporation administration has requested residents who had planned to attend the grievance redressal meeting to take note of this cancellation and plan their visits accordingly. No alternative date for the rescheduled meeting has been announced yet by the Corporation authorities.

Public grievance redressal meetings serve as an important platform for citizens to interact directly with civic officials and seek resolution to their problems. The cancellation due to administrative reasons has disappointed many residents who were looking forward to presenting their concerns before the Mayor and other officials. The Corporation is expected to announce a new date for the meeting soon to ensure that public grievances are addressed in a timely manner.
