Grade 4 and 5 students of Spectrum Northern Lights School visited VGM Hospital to celebrate National Doctors' Day by honouring doctors with handmade greeting cards, poems and speeches, recognising their dedication to healthcare and community service.

Students of Grades 4 and 5 from Spectrum Northern Lights School celebrated National Doctors' Day by visiting VGM Hospital on Tuesday to honour doctors and express their gratitude for their dedicated service to society.
During the visit, the students presented handmade greeting cards, recited a poem and delivered a speech thanking doctors for their unwavering commitment, compassion and selfless service. The programme was organised to help students understand and appreciate the vital role healthcare professionals play in society.


The students felicitated Dr V.G. Mohan Prasad, Founder Chairman of VGM Hospital and Chief Gastroenterologist, along with Dr Madhura Prasad Suman, Consultant Gastroenterologist, Dr Vamsi Murthy K, Consultant Gastroenterologist, Dr Suman CPS, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Mithra Prasad, Consultant Hepatologist, and several other doctors serving at the hospital.


The doctors interacted with the students, appreciated their thoughtful gesture and encouraged them to uphold values such as kindness, empathy and service in their daily lives. The interaction also gave the children an opportunity to learn about the responsibilities and dedication involved in the medical profession.
The programme concluded with group photographs and interactions between the students and doctors, creating memorable moments for everyone who participated.
