Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore Announces Training Program on Value-Added Products from Tomato and Aloe Vera

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore is conducting a two-day training program on May 19-20, 2026, to teach preparation of value-added products from tomatoes and aloe vera. Registration fee is Rs.1,770 including GST, payable on the first day.


Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore has announced a specialized training program focused on preparing value-added products from tomatoes and aloe vera. The two-day training session is scheduled to be held on May 19, 2026, and May 20, 2026.

The comprehensive training program will cover multiple topics related to tomato processing, including preparation of sun-dried tomatoes, pickles, sauce, ketchup, soup powder, and jam. Additionally, participants will learn to create various aloe vera-based products such as fruit juice beverages, ready-to-drink beverages, drinks, and candies.


Interested candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,770 (Rs.1,500 plus 18% GST) on the first day of the training program. The training will be conducted at the Post Harvest Technology Centre, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - 641 003.


Participants can reach the venue via Gate No. 7, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, through Marudhamalai Road, Coimbatore-641003. The bus stop is conveniently located near the university gate for easy access.
