SRIT Alumni Connect 2K26 Bengaluru Chapter Witnesses Overwhelming Response with 120 Participants

The SRIT Alumni Connect 2K26 Bengaluru Chapter reunion brought together 120 alumni at Savoury Business Hotel, Madiwala. Joint Managing Trustee Narendran Soundararajan presided over the event, announcing upcoming Silver Jubilee celebrations while alumni reconnected and discussed industry trends and student mentorship opportunities.


Coimbatore: The SRIT Alumni Connect 2K26 – Bengaluru Chapter reunion witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 120 alumni representing various departments and batches. The event, held at Savoury Business Hotel in Madiwala, served as a vibrant platform for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and fellow graduates.

The reunion was presided over by Narendran Soundararajan, Joint Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, alongside Principal Dr J David Rathnaraj, departmental heads, and faculty members from the institution.

The program commenced with a welcome address by C Mohanapriya, Secretary of the Association, followed by an insightful presentation on alumni initiatives by S Dhivya, Joint Secretary of the association. The Joint Managing Trustee expressed appreciation for the overwhelming alumni turnout and made a significant announcement regarding the upcoming Silver Jubilee Celebration. He emphasized the importance of continued alumni engagement in fostering student development and institutional growth.

Dr J David Rathnaraj highlighted the institution's recent technological advancements, including the establishment of specialized Centers of Excellence in AR/VR, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, IoT, and Smart E-Mobility Systems. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of alumni in enhancing academic programs and placement activities.

Alumni participants expressed genuine happiness about the reunion, praising the organizational efforts that created a conducive environment for reminiscing cherished memories and strengthening professional networks. Many shared valuable perspectives on current industry trends and emerging technologies, demonstrating their commitment to creating career opportunities and pathways for junior batches.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, followed by a networking dinner that provided additional opportunities for informal interactions. The gathering proved to be a successful initiative in reinforcing the enduring bond between alumni and their institution, while establishing frameworks for future collaboration and mentorship programs.
