MLA S. Damodaran Inaugurates New Fair Price Shop in Kinathukadavu Constituency

MLA S. Damodaran inaugurated a new fair price shop in Palaniyappa Layout, Kurichi area of Kinathukadavu constituency, Coimbatore. The shop was built with an allocation of Rs. 15 lakhs from the MLA fund, fulfilling public demand.


Coimbatore: In response to public demand, MLA S. Damodaran inaugurated a new fair price shop in Palaniyappa Layout, located in the Kurichi area of Kinathukadavu constituency. The shop, which falls under the 97th Ward Committee, was constructed with an allocation of Rs. 15 lakhs from the MLA fund.



The inauguration ceremony saw MLA Damodaran officially opening the fair price shop for public use and distributing essential commodities. The event marked the fulfillment of a long-standing request from the local residents for a convenient access point to subsidized goods.

The ceremony was attended by several party officials, including Kurichi area party secretary Perumalswamy, 94th ward party secretary Balakrishnan, 94A ward party secretary Manikkavasagam, 96th ward party secretary Senthilkumar, 96A ward party secretary Udayakumar, 97th ward party secretary Cable Babu, 97A ward party secretary RTO Prakash, 98th ward party secretary Nijam, and 98A ward party secretary Kumarasamy. Various other party executives and members of the public also participated in the event.

This new fair price shop is expected to benefit numerous families in the Palaniyappa Layout and surrounding areas, providing them with easier access to essential commodities at subsidized rates. The initiative demonstrates the local administration's commitment to addressing the needs of the community and improving public service infrastructure.
