Park Global School Student Clinches Gold at CBSE National Yoga Tournament

Hemanth, a Grade VII student from Park Global School, Coimbatore, secured a gold medal in rhythmic yoga at the CBSE National Yoga Tournament 2024-2025 held in Gujarat, competing against 500 students from 150 schools across India.


Coimbatore: A young yoga enthusiast from Coimbatore has brought laurels to the city by winning a gold medal at the national level. Hemanth, a Grade VII student of Park Global School (CBSE), Coimbatore, showcased his exceptional skills in rhythmic yoga at the CBSE National Yoga Tournament 2024-2025 held in Gujarat during the first week of October 2024.

Competing in the under-17 category, Hemanth outperformed participants from across the country to secure the top position. The tournament witnessed participation from approximately 500 students representing 150 schools from various parts of India, making Hemanth's achievement even more significant.

Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Group of Institutions, congratulated Hemanth on his remarkable feat. She also commended the coach for providing excellent training and encouragement, which played a crucial role in the student's success at the national level.
