Power Outage Announced for MG Pudur and Devanur Pudur Sub-stations Tomorrow

Electricity Board announces power cut in various areas of Coimbatore on October 7 from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at MG Pudur and Devanur Pudur sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas of Coimbatore on October 7, 2023, due to monthly maintenance work at two sub-stations. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM, affecting residents and businesses in the specified regions.

MG Pudur sub-station will undergo maintenance work, resulting in power disruption in Sulur area, Industrial Estate, Neelampur area, Lakshmi Nagar, and Kulathur.

Similarly, maintenance work at Devanur Pudur sub-station will cause power outages in Devanur Pudur, Chellampalaiyam, Karathur, Ravanapuram, Aandiyur, Pandiyangkaradu, Arisanampatti, Vallakundapuran, Snallur, Arthanaripalaiyam, Pungamuthur, and Valaiyapalaiyam.

The Electricity Board has urged residents and businesses in these areas to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions during the power cut hours. Essential services and industries are advised to make alternative arrangements to minimize disruptions to their operations.

TNEB officials have stated that the maintenance work is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution network in the region. They have assured that power supply will be restored as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
