AJK College Celebrates World Tourism Day with 'Tourism and Peace' Rally

AJK College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore marked World Tourism Day 2024 with a rally themed "Tourism and Peace" on September 27. The event was inaugurated by Haridasan, Additional Superintendent of Police, Palakkad.


Coimbatore: The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management at AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore (Autonomous) organized a rally to commemorate World Tourism Day 2024 on September 27. The event, centered around the theme "Tourism & Peace," showcased the institution's commitment to promoting tourism awareness and its potential for fostering peace.

The rally was flagged off by Haridasan, Additional Superintendent of Police, Palakkad, marking the official start of the celebration.



The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, Vice Chancellor Convenor Committee Member of Bharathiar University, and the Secretary of AJK Group of Institutions Coimbatore.

AJK College of Arts and Science, an A+ Accredited Institution by NAAC, continues to demonstrate its dedication to holistic education and industry-relevant initiatives through such events. The World Tourism Day celebration not only highlighted the importance of tourism but also emphasized its role in promoting peace and cultural understanding.
