BJP Celebrates Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's 108th Birth Anniversary in Coimbatore

BJP leaders and members in Coimbatore's Ganapathy area commemorated the 108th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on September 25. The event included garlanding his portrait, new member enrollments, and distribution of BJP membership stickers.


Coimbatore: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Coimbatore celebrated the 108th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, on September 25. The event took place in the Ganapathy area of the city, with party leaders and members paying their respects to the late ideologue.

The celebration was organized under the guidance of J. Ramesh Kumar, the Coimbatore City District President of BJP. Sr. Sekhar, the BJP State Treasurer, presided over the event, while Sivakumar, the Ganapathy Mandal President, led the proceedings.



Party members garlanded a portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and showered it with flowers as a mark of respect.



The event also saw new member enrollments and the distribution of BJP membership stickers to attendees.



Notable participants included Subbaian, a State General Committee member, and Ganapathi Durai, the District Secretary. Various district and mandal-level party officials were also present at the commemoration.

The celebration of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's birth anniversary is an annual event for the BJP, highlighting the continued relevance of his philosophy and teachings within the party's ideology.
