Bharathiar University Hosts Final Round of Student Innovation Showcase

The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute organized a two-day final round event for student innovations at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore on September 18-19, 2024, featuring 29 teams from various regions.


Coimbatore: The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII) organized the final round event for innovative discoveries by higher education students at Bharathiar University in Coimbatore district today (Sept. 18). Dr. R. Ambalavanan, Director of EDII, participated as the chief guest and delivered the keynote address.

Dr. Lovely Na Little Flower, a member of the Vice-Chancellor's committee at Bharathiar University, attended the event and delivered the inaugural address. Mr. C. Shanmugaraj, State Project Manager of EDII, shared his thoughts on the occasion. The University's central coordinator welcomed all the participants, while Mrs. Saranya, EDII's district coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.

The two-day final competition will see the participation of 29 teams from Chennai, Salem, and Coimbatore regions on September 18, 2024. Teams from Sivagangai, Tirunelveli, and Trichy will compete on September 19, 2024. District coordinators from all the mentioned regions had made excellent arrangements for this event.

This showcase of student innovations highlights the creative potential of higher education students in Tamil Nadu and provides a platform for young innovators to present their ideas. The event aims to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among students, potentially leading to the development of new technologies and business ventures in the future.
