Coimbatore: The School Education Department has issued a revised transfer order, appointing a new District Education Officer (Secondary) for Coimbatore. This announcement comes as an amendment to the previous transfer orders released on August 20th for various district education officers across the state.

According to the latest notification, T. Gomathi, who was serving as the District Education Officer (Elementary) of Nilgiris district, has been appointed as the new District Education Officer (Secondary) for Coimbatore district.

It is noteworthy that in the initial transfer order, Gomathi was slated to be transferred as the District Education Officer (Elementary) for Tiruppur district. However, this decision has now been revised in the latest announcement.
