MP Ganapathi Rajkumar Inaugurates Walkway and Children's Park in Coimbatore's Ward 2

Coimbatore MP Dr. P. Ganapathi Rajkumar inaugurated a new walkway and children's park in Ward 2, Vellakkinaru division, constructed at a cost of Rs. 14.90 lakh from MP funds.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Member of Parliament Dr. P. Ganapathi Rajkumar inaugurated a newly constructed walkway and children's park in Ward 2 of the North Zone, Coimbatore Municipal Corporation on Monday (02.09.2024). The facilities, located in the Vellakkinaru division, Kumarasamy Avenue area, were built at a cost of Rs. 14.90 lakh from the MP's constituency development fund.

Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the event, where MP Ganapathi Rajkumar officially opened the facilities and planted a sapling to mark the occasion.



The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Deputy Mayor R. Vetriselvan, former Thondamuthur Panchayat President Ravi, North Zone Chairman V. Kathirvel, and Ward Councilors Karpagam, Pushpamani, Chitra Thangavel, and Shanthamani.



Also present at the event were Assistant Commissioner Sridevi, Assistant Executive Engineer Ezhil, and Assistant Engineer Jainraj. The new walkway and children's park are expected to provide recreational facilities for residents in the area, promoting physical activity and community engagement.
