Madathukulam MLA Visits Injured Workers at Udumalpet Government Hospital

Madathukulam MLA Mahendran visited Udumalpet Government Hospital to console 19 workers injured in a cargo van accident near Ammapatty, Tirupur district.


Coimbatore: In a gesture of concern and support, Madathukulam MLA Mahendran visited the Udumalpet Government Hospital today to console the workers injured in a recent road accident. The incident occurred this morning near Ammapatty division, close to Udumalpet in Tirupur district, when a cargo van carrying female workers overturned, resulting in injuries to 19 individuals.

The accident took place when the cargo van, transporting the workers, suddenly toppled over for reasons yet to be determined. The impact of the crash left 19 workers with varying degrees of injuries, prompting their immediate admission to the Udumalpet Government Hospital for treatment.



Upon hearing the news, MLA Mahendran, accompanied by AIADMK officials, rushed to the hospital to meet the injured workers. He spoke with each of them, offering words of comfort and assuring them of all possible assistance for their speedy recovery. The MLA's visit brought some solace to the injured workers and their families during this difficult time.

The local authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. Meanwhile, the medical staff at the Udumalpet Government Hospital are providing necessary care and treatment to ensure the quick recovery of all the injured workers.
