Coimbatore: Ward 27 Councilor Ambika Dhanapal conducted a series of inspections in various areas of Peelamedu on August 31, focusing on waste management, tree disposal, and dengue prevention measures.

In Ilango Nagar Main Road and Periyar Street of Peelamedu, Dhanapal checked the regularity of daily waste collection carts. She interacted with residents, urging them to segregate their waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories before handing it over to the collection teams.

The councilor then visited Bharathi Colony Main Road in Peelamedu, where trees cut by the Electricity Board were being ground into sawdust using a grinding machine. Dhanapal instructed the sanitation workers to complete the task swiftly without causing any inconvenience to the public.
