VCK Celebrates Thirumavalavan's 62nd Birthday with Charity Event Near Madathukulam

VCK members commemorated party leader Thol. Thirumavalavan's 62nd birthday by distributing traditional attire to over 300 people near Madathukulam, Tiruppur district.



Coimbatore: The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) celebrated the 62nd birthday of its leader and Member of Parliament, Thol. Thirumavalavan, with a charitable event near Madathukulam in Tiruppur district. The celebration, held at a private hall in Kaniyur, also marked the party's recognition as a state-level political entity and its 25th year in electoral politics.

VCK members and supporters distributed traditional attire, including veshtis and sarees, to more than 300 members of the public as part of the festivities. The event showcased the party's commitment to social welfare and community engagement.



Engineer P. Rajasekharan presided over the function, which saw the participation of several prominent VCK and DMK leaders. A.C. Pavarasu, VCK's General Secretary, K. Eswarsamy, Member of Parliament from Pollachi, and R. Jayaramakrishnan, DMK's Tiruppur South District Chairman, were among those who distributed welfare scheme benefits to the public.

Other notable attendees included Il. Gopinath, founder of Nethaji Peravai, Ma. Murugan, Erode-Tiruppur Zonal Deputy Secretary, and A. Gifton David Paul, State Deputy Secretary of the Christian Social Justice Forum. The event also saw the participation of Sathish Kumar, Tiruppur South District Secretary of VCK, and Pon. Sakthivel, VCK's Udumalaipet Town In-charge, among others.

The celebration not only marked Thirumavalavan's birthday but also served as a platform for the VCK to reinforce its presence and connect with the local community through charitable activities.
