The All India People's Rights and Legal Awareness Association celebrated the 78th Independence Day with a triple event in Coimbatore, featuring flag hoisting, tree planting, and educational donations, presided over by former Justice Karpaga Vinayakam.
Coimbatore: The All India People's Rights and Legal Awareness Association celebrated the 78th Independence Day with a grand triple event at the Kattampatti Panchayat Union Primary School in Annur, Coimbatore. The celebration, led by the organization's founder R.K. Kumar, included flag hoisting, tree planting, and distribution of educational donations to school students.
Former Justice Karpaga Vinayakam, the honorary president of the association, was the chief guest at the event. He hoisted the national flag, delivered a special address, and inaugurated the tree planting ceremony. The Justice also presented educational donations to students and awarded certificates of appreciation to dedicated teachers and ministerial staff of the school.
R.K. Kumar, the founder of the organization, delivered the welcome address. General Secretary V.H. Subramaniam and National Coordinator of Women's Wing Latha Arjunan offered felicitations. The event was also attended by other office bearers including Vice President Senthil Kumar, Joint Secretary John Christopher, Vijay Rao, Travels Ramesh, Ramajeyam, and Chandrasekar.
The headmaster of the school, Shanmugasundaram, gave the inaugural speech. Special invitees including Panchayat President Gayathri Balakrishnan, former President M.K. Duraisamy, Union Councillor Selvaraj, Councillor Roja Balu, and Sumathi Rajendran participated in the event.
