Coimbatore: The Centre for Students Welfare at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, organized a Job Fair 2024 for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the 2020 batch. The two-day event, held on August 8 and 9, 2024, at the university's Convocation Hall, saw participation from 20 companies and 500 students.
Dr. N. Maragatham, Dean of the Centre for Students Welfare, welcomed the gathering and encouraged students from the main campus and all TNAU component institutions to seek suitable employment that would utilize their acquired knowledge and talents.

Dr. R. Thamizh Vendan, Registrar of the University, delivered the inaugural address, expressing gratitude to the participating firms for their trust in the university. He emphasized that TNAU students are now more motivated to maintain their high level of technical knowledge and physical fitness to compete for jobs in various sectors, including government, NGOs, service industry, banking, national and international enterprises, and research labs.

Dr. J. Venkita Pirabu, Retired Professor from the Centre for Students Welfare, briefed the audience on the activities planned for Job Fair 2024 and its significance. The event also featured pre-placement talks by various companies, presenting information about job nature and company emoluments through presentations and videos.
