Coimbatore: A Makkaludan Mudhalvar program was held today at a private marriage hall in Periyakottai Panchayat near Udumalaipettai in Tiruppur district. Pollachi Member of Parliament Eswaran inaugurated the camp and distributed orders to beneficiaries whose issues were immediately resolved.
The event was attended by several local officials and party members, including Tiruppur South District Secretary Padmanaban, Udumalaipettai Union Perunthalaivar Mahalakshmi Murugan, Periyakottai Panchayat President Pechiyammal Balasubramaniam, Udumalaipettai East Union Secretary Thangaraj, former Udumalaipettai Municipality Chairman Velusamy, and others.
Prior to the event, various government departments, including Revenue, Police, Health, and Electricity, set up stalls to receive applications from the public. Residents of Periyakottai Panchayat submitted their applications and uploaded them through the online portal. Officials then reviewed the nature of the petitions and directed the applicants to the appropriate department stalls.
To raise awareness about the camp, the Panchayat administration distributed pamphlets throughout the area, informing residents about the event. As a result, a significant number of people attended the camp and submitted their petitions.
The Makkaludan Mudhalvar program aims to bring government services closer to the people and address their grievances efficiently. By organizing such camps, the administration hopes to resolve issues promptly and improve the delivery of public services.
