TiE Coimbatore held its Annual General Meeting, appointing a new board led by Arjun Prakash as President. The organization aims to promote entrepreneurship in Coimbatore with a fresh leadership team.
Coimbatore: TiE Coimbatore, a chapter of the global entrepreneurship organization, has announced the appointment of a new board to further its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in the region. The announcement came during the recently held Annual General Meeting in Coimbatore, with the new board assuming responsibilities immediately.
Arjun Prakash, Wholetime Director of Effica Automation, has been appointed as the 8th President of TiE Coimbatore, succeeding Somasundaram Arumugam, Managing Director of Essilor Sankar & Co. Prakash, who brings years of entrepreneurial experience and has previously held key leadership positions at Yi Coimbatore, laid out a detailed vision for the next two years to promote entrepreneurship in the city.
The new team of office bearers includes Jayanthra Jayachandran, Director & CEO of Angler Technologies, and Pradeep Yuvaraj, Chief Storyteller and MD of Prezantim Presentation Strategy, as the two new Vice Presidents. Gokul Dhamodaran, Co-Founder of Kovan Technology Labs, takes over as the new Secretary, while Prashanth Subramanian, Co-Founder & Director of Quadrasystems.net India Pvt Ltd, assumes the role of Treasurer.
With the guiding mantra, "You don't have to be great to start, but you need to start to be great," the new board is poised to enhance TiE Coimbatore's activities and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in the region. Arjun Prakash is expected to drive the organization's strategic vision and spearhead initiatives that will continue to position TiE Coimbatore as a leader in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
