Chief Minister M.K. Stalin Inaugurates New Park in Pollachi via Video Conference

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated a new park in Ward 24 of Pollachi Municipality. The park, built under the Kalaignar Urban Development Scheme at a cost of Rs. 43 lakh, aims to enhance public recreational spaces.



Coimbatore: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated a newly constructed park in Ward 24 of Pollachi Municipality on Thursday. The park, located in Somasundaram Layout, was built under the Kalaignar Urban Development Scheme at a cost of Rs. 43 lakh.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted via video conference from the Chennai Secretariat, with the Chief Minister officially opening the park for public use.



Following the virtual inauguration, Pollachi Municipal Council Chairperson Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan and Commissioner Ganesan visited the park to inspect the facilities and distributed sweets to the public.

The event was attended by Ward 24 Councillor Thangavel, other municipal ward members, and municipal officials. This new park is expected to provide a much-needed recreational space for the residents of Pollachi, especially those living in and around Somasundaram Layout.
