Chief Minister M.K. Stalin Inaugurates Kalaignar Library and Statue in Coimbatore

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the Kalaignar Intellectual Library and a 6-foot-tall bronze statue of Kalaignar Karunanidhi in Karumathampatti-Kaniyur Panchayat, Coimbatore. DMK officials, party workers, and the public attended the event.


Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today (August 9) inaugurated the Kalaignar Intellectual Library and a 6-foot-tall bronze statue of former Chief Minister Kalaignar Karunanidhi in Indira Nagar area of Karumathampatti-Kaniyur Panchayat, Coimbatore.

The event saw a large gathering of DMK officials, party workers, and the general public. The Kalaignar Intellectual Library is expected to greatly contribute to the intellectual growth of students in the area.

The statue and library, established in memory of former Chief Minister Kalaignar Karunanidhi, stand as a testament to his political and literary contributions. This inauguration ceremony is seen as a move to further strengthen the DMK's influence in the Coimbatore district.
