Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNMH) organized an awareness activity titled 'Donate Organs SAVE EIGHT LIVES' at Lakshmi Mills Urban Centre on August 3, 2024, to mark Indian Organ Donation Day. The event, spearheaded by the hospital's Organ Donation & Transplant Committee, aimed to raise public awareness about organ donation and address common misconceptions.
The awareness campaign was graced by Rohit Nathan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Coimbatore, and Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive Officer of GKNMH. Consultants from the Organ Donation and Transplant Committee and students from GKNMH Institute of Allied Health Science were also present at the event.

Rohit Nathan inaugurated the Pledge Campaign, while Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy presided over the event. The primary objective of the campaign was to educate the general public about the importance of organ donation and to clarify myths and misconceptions related to organ donation and transplantation.
