A 'Makkaludan Mudhalvar' scheme camp was conducted in Kanakkampalayam panchayat near Udumalaipettai, Tiruppur district. Revenue Divisional Officer Jaswant Kannan participated and distributed sanctioned petitions to beneficiaries.
Coimbatore: The 'Makkaludan Mudhalvar' scheme camp was held today at S.V. Puram Venkateshwara Marriage Hall in Kanakkampalayam panchayat near Udumalaipettai, Tiruppur district. The camp was inaugurated by Udumalaipettai Revenue Divisional Officer Jaswant Kannan, Udumalaipettai Union Chairperson Mahalakshmi, and Kanakkampalayam Panchayat President Latha alias Kamakshi Ayyavu.
Following the inauguration, RDO Jaswant Kannan and Tiruppur South DMK District Secretary Padmanabhan distributed sanctioned petitions to the beneficiaries whose requests were immediately resolved.

Prior to the event, residents from areas under Kanakkampalayam panchayat submitted applications at various department stalls set up for the benefit of the public. Subsequently, officials examined the nature of the petitions and guided the applicants to submit them at the appropriate department stalls.
To create awareness about the camp, the panchayat administration distributed leaflets door-to-door, resulting in a significant turnout of public participants submitting their petitions.
The event was attended by Udumalaipettai Tahsildar Sundaram, Vivekanandan, Karthikeyan, Kanakkampalayam Panchayat Ward members Deivani and Malarvizhi, Block Development Officers Beulah Epsibal and Subramaniam, along with other department officials, panchayat vice-presidents, union committee members, and the general public.
