Cleaning Drive in Ward 27 of Coimbatore Corporation

Coimbatore Corporation conducted a cleaning drive in Ward 27 on July 23, focusing on clearing drainage silt and garbage from roadsides in Peelamedu and Jaganathapuram areas.

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation carried out an extensive cleaning operation in Ward 27 on Sunday, July 23. The drive focused on two key areas within the ward: Peelamedu Masthi Goundar Street in Jaganathapuram and Bharathi Colony near Murugan Temple in Peelamedu.

In Jaganathapuram, municipal workers concentrated on clearing the drainage silt that had accumulated along the roadsides of Masthi Goundar Street. The operation aimed to improve the area's sanitation and prevent potential blockages in the drainage system.

Similarly, in Bharathi Colony, Peelamedu, the corporation deployed a JCB machine to clear roadside garbage and remove drainage silt near the Murugan Temple.

This mechanized cleaning ensures more efficient and thorough removal of waste and silt.

Ward Supervisor Maheshwari was present during the cleaning drive, overseeing the operations and ensuring their smooth execution. This initiative is part of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation's ongoing efforts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the city's various wards.
