Park College of Engineering and Technology Celebrates: 10 Years of Autonomous Status accorded by UGC

Coimbatore: Park College of Engineering and Technology, located in Kaniyur, Coimbatore, is celebrating a significant milestone - 10 years of autonomous status. The institution, established in 1997 under the Park Group of Institutions, has been at the forefront of pioneering education and preparing students for the future.

The college offers a diverse range of educational opportunities, including 15 undergraduate programs, 4 postgraduate programs, and 3 Ph.D. programs. Its commitment to academic excellence and innovative learning has made it a preferred choice for aspiring engineers across the state and nation.

One of the college's notable achievements is the introduction of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering. Alumni from this department have gone on to hold key positions in prestigious ISRO projects, including the Mangalyaan and Chandrayaan missions.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recently extended the autonomous status of Park College of Engineering and Technology until 2034. A celebration was held at the Kaniyur campus to mark this achievement, with Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Institutions, in attendance. During her speech, she congratulated the Principal and staff for their dedication in reaching this milestone.



Adding to its list of accolades, the college has also been awarded an A+ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the same academic year. This recognition further underscores the institution's commitment to academic excellence and innovative teaching methods.
