Build Intec from February 12

Coimbatore District Small Industries’ Association (Codissia) will organise the eighth edition of Build Intec (building and construction trade fair) and third edition of Hexpo (hospitality supplies exhibition) here from February 12 to 15.

According to E.K. Ponnuswamy, president of the association, and M. Karthikeyan, chairman of the event, the exhibitions will have totally 234 stalls, including 30 related to the hospitality industry. And the total exhibition area will be one lakh sq ft.

The building material exhibition will focus on building materials, construction technology and new products. Manufacturers will have a launch platform to showcase the new products. The business turnover to the participants from the fair during the next one year is estimated to be Rs. 100 crore. With automation increasing in the construction sector, there will be machinery and demonstration of these at the fair. For instance, a wall cement plastering machine will be showcased.

Solar energy products, LEDs and waste management systems will also be part of the exhibits.

The exhibition at Codissia Trade Fair Complex will be open from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.

The entry fee is Rs. 50.
