DMK's Youth Wing Membership Drive in Ward 49 of Coimbatore

DMK's "Youth Wing Membership Drive" was conducted in Ward 49 of Coimbatore on July 12. The event, led by local party officials, aimed to strengthen the party's youth presence in the area.


Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) conducted its "Youth Wing Membership Drive" in Ward 49 of Coimbatore on Wednesday, July 12. The drive, part of a statewide initiative, took place in various areas including Peelamedu Area-2, Pappanaickenpalayam, and Sri Ram Puram.

The event was led by N. Karthik, former MLA and DMK Coimbatore Urban District Secretary, along with M. Nagaraj, Peelamedu Area-2 Secretary. S.J. Das, the 49th Ward Secretary, and K. Manikandan, Deputy Organizer of Coimbatore Urban District Youth Wing, supervised the proceedings.



The membership drive aims to strengthen the party's youth presence and support the leadership of DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. It is being carried out under the guidance of Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Youth Wing Secretary of DMK and Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development in Tamil Nadu.

Several local party officials and members participated in the event, including Deputy Secretary Nagaraj, Auditor Rajendran, Saraswati, Mani, Shanmugam, Jothimurugan, Tempo Shanmugam, Eswaran Ponnusamy, Babu Mahendran, Sekar Manimegalai, and Ramraj. Representatives from various party wings and local DMK cadres were also present, showcasing the party's strong organizational structure at the grassroots level.

The "Door-to-Door Youth Wing Membership Drive" is being conducted across Tamil Nadu as part of the DMK's efforts to engage more young people in politics and strengthen its base ahead of future elections.
