Amit Shah is real history sheeter; TN Youth Congress reacts strongly to Annamalai comment on TNCC President Selvaperunthagai

Tamil Nadu Youth Congress General Secretary Shrinithi Prem strongly criticized BJP State President K. Annamalai for spreading defamatory statements against TNCC President K. Selvaperunthagai, demanding explanations on BJP's alleged involvement in Aarudhra scam.

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Youth Congress General Secretary Shrinithi Prem has strongly condemned Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai for allegedly spreading defamatory statements against Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) President K. Selvaperunthagai.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Prem expressed severe criticism towards Annamalai for his recent comments. The Youth Congress leader highlighted the ongoing investigation by the Tamil Nadu Police's Economic Offences Wing into the Aarudhra scam, where thousands of investors were allegedly defrauded of over 1000 crore rupees. Prem pointed out that there have been persistent reports suggesting links between prominent BJP figures and the scam.

Furthermore, Prem mentioned the alleged connections between those involved in the Aarudhra fraud and the Armstrong murder case, which is also under intense police scrutiny. He noted that TNCC President Selvaperunthagai had raised questions about the involvement of BJP leaders in these cases, to which Annamalai responded by making defamatory statements against Selvaperunthagai instead of directly addressing the allegations.

Shrinithi Prem challenged Annamalai to first release and explain the list of cases against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He then proceeded to list out several cases allegedly filed against Amit Shah, including:

1. IPC 506: Charges related to criminal intimidation

2. IPC Section 153A/1: Charges related to arson with intent to destroy property, use of explosives, conspiracy

3. IPC Section 153B/2: Actions against Indian unity, acting against race, language, place of birth, residence, and harmony

4. IPC Section 500: Charges related to defamation

5. IPC Section 503/1: Charges related to criminal intimidation

6. IPC Section 504/1: Charges related to intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace

7. IPC Section 427: Charges related to mischief causing damage of fifty rupees or more

8. IPC Section 499: Charges related to defamation

9. IPC Section 188: Charges related to disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant

Shrinithi Prem questioned whether Annamalai would speak about how Amit Shah, described as India's 'Exemplary Rowdy Sheeter', who has been charged, punished, and released in various cases, is now serving as the Home Minister.

Shrinithi Prem emphasized that the public is expecting Annamalai to provide answers regarding the alleged connections between the BJP and individuals like Amar Prasad Reddy, R.K. Suresh, and "Rowdy" Arcot Suresh in the Aarudhra scam. He concluded by stating that those who did not participate in the independence struggle and sought pardons from the British have no moral right to criticize the Congress party or its leaders, who come from a lineage of sacrifice for the nation.
