Due to ongoing railway maintenance in Salem, train services on Irugur-Podanur route will be rerouted on July 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, avoiding Coimbatore station.
Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division recently announced that due to maintenance work on the railway tracks in Salem, several train services will be rerouted. The Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express (Train No: 13352) and the Ernakulam-Bangalore Express (Train No: 12678) will operate via the Irugur-Podanur route on selected dates this July, specifically on the 4th, 6th, 9th, 11th, and 13th.
As a result of this rerouting, these trains will skip stopping at Coimbatore Station. Instead, they will make a stop at Podanur Station. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check for updates on the station's notice boards or the official railway website.
