Coimbatore District Collector Distributes Welfare Assistance Worth Rs.6.66 Lakhs

Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati distributed government welfare assistance worth Rs.6.66 lakhs at the Coimbatore District Collector Office, benefiting social welfare and differently abled citizens.


Coimbatore: In a decisive boost to social welfare initiatives, the Coimbatore District Collector's office, under the leadership of Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, facilitated the distribution of government welfare schemes valued at Rs.6.66 lakhs. This scheme included the Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme under which five beneficiaries from the degree certificate holders category received National Savings Certificates worth Rs.90,000.

Additionally, six differently-abled individuals were equipped with petrol scooters fitted with side wheels, each valued at Rs.96,011. These initiatives aim to empower socially and physically disadvantaged groups, enhancing their quality of life through substantial financial support. A total of 11 beneficiaries were assisted through these combined efforts.
