DMK members, including Kurichi Prabhakaran, appeared in Madukkarai Criminal Court on June 19 to face inquiries of two separate cases involving public protests and notices distribution about ministerial corruption during the AIADMK regime.
Coimbatore: Today, several DMK leaders appeared in the Madukkarai Criminal Court to face trials in two separate cases.
These cases arose from activities during the previous AIADMK regime, involving a public protest for regional water problems and the distribution of notices about alleged corruption by former AIADMK ministers. Among those present were Kurichi Prabhakaran and Coimbatore Corporation South Zone Chairman Dhanalakshmi Ranganathan, along with Kurichi South Area Secretary Ra. Karthikeyan. Other sector secretaries such as Echanari Mahalingam and B Muralidharan, along with DMK administrators including S. Buvanesh, Ranganathan, K. Kannamani, Ra. Krishnamoorthy, Kurichi Ramani, Vanavil Kanagaraj, R. Sivaraman, Auto Raj, G. Chandrasekhar, Thangaraj, Govindaraj, Samsudeen, Velusamy, Prem Kumar, Sivakumar, Lakshmi Manjula, Senguttuvan, K. Rathinasamy, Maniappan, Maulana, Gemini, and Aadhavan Arumugam also appeared with the team of DMK lawyers.
