Two Arrested for Transporting Ganja in Neelambur, Coimbatore

Two individuals were arrested in Neelambur, under Sulur Police Station limits, for transporting ganja. 5 kg of ganja was seized during a vehicle check.


Coimbatore: On June 17, two persons were arrested in the Neelambur area of Coimbatore for allegedly transporting ganja for sale.

Police received a tip-off about the activities and conducted a vehicle inspection near Neelambur. During the operation, Sundara Jegadheesan, a 21-year-old from Neelambur, and Reenu Ayuka, a 28-year-old from Odisha, were detained. Police seized 5 kilograms of ganja from them and subsequently, both were remanded to judicial custody.
