Traffic Diversion Announcement in Coimbatore for DMK's Grand Mupperum Vizha Event Today

Traffic diversions have been implemented in Coimbatore today (June 15) for the DMK's grand event led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin at Codissia grounds. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid congestion.


Coimbatore: Traffic diversions have been implemented in Coimbatore today (June 15) due to the DMK's grand event at Codissia grounds, led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin. According to the press release issued by the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner’s office, the event will see participation from ministers, MPs, MLAs, and alliance party members, necessitating changes in traffic arrangements in the city.

Vehicles from Salem, Namakkal, Erode, and Tirupur should reach Codissia grounds via Avinashi Road, Neelambur, Chinniampalayam, Thottipalayam Junction, and Chitra Junction.

Similarly, vehicles from Trichy, Karur, Dharapuram, Palladam, and southern districts should travel via Trichy Road to reach Avinashi Road through Sulur Road Junction, Sulur Tank, Muthugoundanpudur Railway Bridge, Neelambur, Chinniampalayam, Thottipalayam Junction, Chitra Junction, and Iskcon Road.

Vehicles from Palani, Udumalpet, Valparai, Anaimalai, and Pollachi should reach Codissia via Pollachi Road, L&T Bypass, Vellalore Junction, Vellalore, Singanallur, Kamarajar Road, Avinashi Road, Tidel Park, and Thanneerpandal Junction.

Vehicles from Walayar, K G Chavadi, Navakkarai, Ettimadai, should travel via Palakkad Road, Kuniyamuthur, Aathupalam, Ukkadam, Sungam, Ramanathapuram Signal, Puliyakulam, Avinashi Road, Tidel Park, and Thanneerpandal Junction to reach Codissia grounds.

Vehicles from Nilgiris, Mettupalayam, Karamadai, Periyanaickenpalayam should travel via Annur, Kurumbapalayam, Kalapatti Junction, Vilankurichi, Thanneerpandal to reach Codissia.

Vehicles from Thudiyalur, Ganapathy, Tadagam, Anaikatti should travel via Saravanampatti, Vilankurichi, Cheran Managar, and Thanneerpandal to reach Codissia grounds.

Vehicles from Annur, Kovilpalayam, Kurumbapalayam should reach Codissia via Kovilpalayam, Kaapikkadai, Vilankurichi Junction, and Cheran Managar.

Public are advised to plan their routes in advance and use alternate routes to avoid congestion and reach their destinations easily.
