TNPSC Group 4 Exams Underway in Tirupur District with 45,885 Candidates

In Tirupur district, 45,885 candidates are participating in the TNPSC Group 4 exams held across 155 centers. Strict measures are enforced to ensure fairness during exams.


Tirupur: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group 4 exams are taking place today across the state, with Tirupur district hosting 45,885 candidates in 155 examination centers. This recruitment drive aims to fill 6,244 vacancies within various state government departments.



The district administration has intensified security and monitoring to facilitate smooth conduct of the exams. As part of the measures, 45 mobile teams, 18 flying squads, and 155 supervising officers have been deployed.



Candidates were advised to arrive at the examination sites before 9 AM as no entry was allowed beyond this time. A rigorous screening process was undertaken; mobile phones, smart watches, and purses were prohibited inside the examination halls. Candidates had to display a government-issued ID along with their hall ticket to gain entry. The question papers were distributed at 9:30 AM and the candidates began writing shortly after a five-minute interval.



All examination centers are closely monitored by supervisory officers and recorded via video cameras to maintain strict examination standards.
