Coimbatore: On May 30, 2024, Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Siva Prabhakaran IAS conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing cleanup efforts along the canal that transports water from Kurichi Lake to Noyyal River. This canal, approximately 2.2 kilometers in length, stretches from Palakkad Main Road to Puttuvikki Road.

The commissioner directed the involved officials to expedite the cleanup operations to ensure timely completion.
