Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan has issued orders to all meat outlets and slaughter houses to shut down their operations tomorrow on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanthi, that is to be celebrated tomorrow, 9th April, 2017.
Accordingly, all the meat shops and all 10 Corporation slaughter houses functioning in Sathy Road, Singanallur, Thudiyalur, Ukkadam, Podanur and other areas will remain closed tomorrow.
