Training for Vote Counting Officers Held at R.S. Puram Art Gallery in Coimbatore

Training for officials who will count votes on June 4 for Pollachi parliamentary constituency took place at the R.S. Puram Art Gallery in Coimbatore, overseen by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati.


Coimbatore: Preparations are underway for voting counting on June 4th in Coimbatore’s Pollachi parliamentary constituency, with a special training session for vote-counting officers held today at the R.S. Puram Municipal Art Gallery. The event was led by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati.




Officials, including the city's Municipal Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, and 344 scrutineers participated in the training session. They received detailed instructions and manuals about the protocols to be maintained during the counting process.






This session comes in anticipation of the counting scheduled to be held at the Thadagam Road Government Technical College for the Coimbatore constituency. The authorities emphasized the importance of transparency and accuracy in the electoral process. Each participant was briefed on critical aspects of the vote-counting centers.








The hands-on training session aimed to ensure that all officers and scrutineers are well-versed with their duties and the technicalities of the counting process, reinforcing the importance of a fair electoral outcome.
