Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran Inspects Ongoing Underground Drainage and Vehicle Parking Projects in Coimbatore

Coimbatore's Corporation Commissioner, IAS M. Sivaguru Prabakaran, oversaw the ongoing underground drainage works and a four-wheeler parking facility in West Zone Ward No. 72 RS Puram Bhagadur Road, expedited quality project completion instructions.


Coimbatore: Today, IAS M. Sivaguru Prabakaran, the Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore, conducted a detailed inspection of the four-wheeler parking facilities and the ongoing underground sewage projects in Coimbatore's western regions.



The visit encompassed various sites including Ward No. 72, RS Puram Bhagadur Road, and Murugan Colony under Ward No. 16 where significant drainage works are underway.



In his visit, Corporation Commissioner Prabhakaran urged the responsible engineers to ensure that the works are completed swiftly and to a high standard.



Prior to this, he reviewed two high-capacity diesel engines, each with a power of 100 HP which had been brought from Chennai specifically to aid in evacuating stagnant rainwater under Avinashi overpass.

During his inspections, Assistant Commissioners Sandhya (West) and Elangovan (South), along with Assistant Engineers Savitha and Kamalakannan, and the Assistant Urban Planner Gandhimathi among others were present, adding their expertise to the review of the ongoing projects.
