Public Auction of Used Police Vehicles in Coimbatore on May 30, 2024

The Coimbatore Police announces a public auction of 16 used vehicles, comprising four-wheelers and two-wheelers, at the Armed Reserve Grounds on Avinashi Road, on May 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Police has declared a public auction for a total of 16 used vehicles, including both four-wheelers and two-wheelers. This auction will take place at the Armed Reserve Grounds located on Avinashi Road, with the vehicles available as seen on May 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM.


These vehicles are currently parked at the Motor Vehicle Section of the Coimbatore District Armed Reserve. Interested parties can inspect these vehicles until 5:00 PM on May 29, 2024, the day before the auction. Participants wishing to bid must register their names by paying an advance of INR 1000 for two-wheelers and INR 2000 for four-wheelers between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM on May 29, 2024.


Upon successful bidding, the full amount along with the applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) —12% for two-wheelers and 18% for four-wheelers— must be paid immediately in cash. The vehicles can then be taken possession of, as stated by Police Commissioner Badrinarayanan recently.
