Puja Store Owner Dies After Being Hit by Train Near Lakshmi Nagar, Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, a puja store owner, Mohanraj, died after being struck by a train near Lakshmi Nagar in NGGO Colony. The incident occurred on May 14 as he was crossing the tracks.


Coimbatore: A tragic train accident claimed the life of a local puja store owner near Lakshmi Nagar in the NGGO Colony area of Coimbatore.

Mohanraj, who ran a puja material store in Siddhapudur, was fatally struck by a Memu train, while he was reportedly crossing the railway tracks. The incident occurred in the evening of May 14, as he failed to notice the approaching train from Mettupalayam bound for Coimbatore. Mettupalayam Railway Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the accident.
