Nurses at Coimbatore Government Hospital Take Pledge on World Nurses Day

On World Nurses Day, nurses at Coimbatore Government Hospital took a pledge to reaffirm their commitment to the profession. Celebrations included candle-lighting and dancing to film songs.


Coimbatore: Nurses at Coimbatore Government Hospital commemorated World Nurses Day by taking a pledge to faithfully execute their duties. Celebrated annually on May 12th, the birthdate of pioneering nurse Florence Nightingale, World Nurses Day honors the significant contributions of nurses worldwide. At Coimbatore Government Hospital, the event was marked by nurses affirming their dedication to the nursing profession, symbolized by a candle-lighting ceremony.




Following the pledge, the nurses, along with doctors, enthusiastically participated in a dance to cinematic tunes, adding a festive atmosphere to the serious commitment ceremony. The hospital dean, Nirmala, also joined in the celebrations, expressing her gratitude and best wishes for the nurses, dancing joyfully and enhancing the celebratory mood.
