Volunteers Invited to Participate in Tree Maintenance Day at Kurichi Pond in Coimbatore

Coimbatore Kulangal Pathukappu Amaippu invites volunteers for tree maintenance at Kurichi Pond on May 12, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:00 AM. Participants will help care for 1500 saplings planted around the surplus canal.


Coimbatore: In an effort to maintain and enhance the greenery around Kurichi Pond, the Coimbatore Kulangal Pathukappu Amaippu has organized a tree maintenance day scheduled for May 12, 2024. From 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, volunteers from Coimbatore are welcomed to assist in caring for approximately 1500 tree saplings that were previously planted along both sides of the surplus water canal adjacent to the pond.




Volunteers are crucial to the success of this initiative, which aims not only to maintain the saplings but also to foster community involvement in local environmental conservation efforts. The organization issued a call for volunteers today, urging those interested to come forward and contribute their time towards nurturing these young trees.
