K. Annamalai, BJP's state leader and Coimbatore Parliamentary candidate, announced the 'Kodupom Neermor' initiative on April 30 to provide relief from the summer heat.
Coimbatore: In an effort to mitigate the harshness of the summer heat, K. Annamalai, BJP State Leader and the party's candidate for Coimbatore, has announced a special initiative named 'Kodupom Neermor' on April 30. This initiative aims to provide buttermilk at various locations to help the public cool down during the hot weather.
Annamalai expressed his profound gratitude to the lotus members working tirelessly during the election period and striving for the success of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He emphasized that similar to the services provided during the COVID-19 pandemic, BJP members should spread this noble service of quenching thirst across Tamil Nadu.
The 'Kodupom Neermor' stalls, set up by BJP workers, are not only limited to buttermilk distribution; they are also equipped with amenities to ensure people find a respite from the scorching heat. Notably, such facilities are being provided daily at the party's headquarters in Chennai and in district offices across the state.
Annamalai has urged all BJP members, including leaders, administrators, divisional and organizational heads to intensify their efforts in their respective sectors. He asked everyone to establish shaded areas and water booths to continually assist the public. The strategic deployment of these amenities is aimed at protecting the public from the intense sun.
Concluding his message, K. Annamalai appealed to all individuals involved in similar community services to send information and photographs of their initiatives to the headquarters, reinforcing the widespread collective effort to combat the heat effectively.
