Pollachi Constituency Voting Machines Securely Stored after Tamil Nadu Parliamentary Elections

After the conclusion of parliamentary elections in Tamil Nadu, the voting machines from Pollachi constituency have been securely stored at the Na. Mahalingam Technology Institute, with strict surveillance and official supervision.


Coimbatore: Following the recent parliamentary elections in Tamil Nadu, robust security measures have been undertaken to secure the voting machines. In the Pollachi parliamentary constituency, a total of 1,715 polling centers were established. The election process concluded yesterday, and the electronic voting machines were moved to the security room at Na. Mahalingam Technology Institute on Udumalai Road, Pollachi.

The entire operation was carried out under the vigilant supervision of District Election Officer Sharmila and Assistant Election Officer Catherine Saranya, along with revenue officials and party representatives. These machines are now under strict surveillance to ensure their integrity until the counting day.



This stringent security setup aims to maintain the sanctity and confidentiality of the voting process, safeguarding the democratic procedure. Pollachi now awaits the counting day with everything securely in place, ensuring a transparent and fair conclusion to the electoral process.
