Enhanced Security Measures and Distribution of Voting Machines in Pollachi Constituency

Ahead of tomorrow's elections, 1,701 voting machines were securely distributed to Pollachi Parliamentary constituency. Stringent security protocols have been implemented, ensuring safe handling and setup of voting equipment.


Coimbatore: As Tamil Nadu and Puducherry gear up for the parliamentary elections tomorrow, thorough preparations are underway. Pollachi, falling under one of the 40 parliamentary constituencies, has seen significant activity. Over the last two weeks, under tight police security, voting machines were stationed at a private college in Pollachi. These machines are designated for 6 legislative assemblies within the Pollachi constituency.




Additionally, all necessary election materials such as voter lists, ink, pens, pencils, seals, wheelchairs for the disabled, and other aids have been securely dispatched to each polling station, reflecting the meticulous planning and security efforts in place.
