In a unique campaigning effort near Pollachi, traditional artists engaged in Kaavadi and horse dances to support DMK's Eswarasami for the upcoming parliamentary elections on the 19th.

Coimbatore: As the parliamentary elections draw near, scheduled for the 19th, political parties are pulling out all the stops in their final vote-gathering efforts. In the Pollachi constituency, devotees of Tamil God Murugan and native artists showcased their support for DMK's candidate Eswarasami through a vibrant display of traditional performances.

This event, held near the Negamam bus stop, featured Nadaswaram, Thavil, and other percussions with captivating performances of Kaavadiattam and horse dance. These artists not only entertained but also distributed pamphlets highlighting the accomplishments of the DMK-led Hindu Religious Affairs Department. Initiatives like the eligibility of all caste members to be temple priests, nutrition distribution in temples, and the renovation of ancient temples witnessed funding under DMK's governance, encouraging the public to vote for the Rising Sun symbol.
