MK Stalin Endorses Plans for a New Cricket Stadium in Coimbatore

MK Stalin pledges to build a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Coimbatore for Elections 2024, aiming to make it Tamil Nadu's second international-standard venue after Chennai's Chepauk stadium, with support from the Sports Minister and the public.



Coimbatore: In an exciting announcement for sports and cricket enthusiasts, MK Stalin has added a significant promise to the election manifesto for Elections 2024. The Chief Minister has pledged to establish a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Coimbatore. This initiative is to be carried out with the active participation of the sports-loving people of Coimbatore.

The proposed stadium is aimed to be Tamil Nadu's second international-standard cricket venue, following the iconic M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Minister TRB Rajaa highlighted the potential of the new stadium, while Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed the government's commitment to nurturing talent and enhancing sports infrastructure across Tamil Nadu.
